Every story has a beginning, middle, and an end
Just like a day compose of morning, noon, and night
And just maybe if the universe allows us to spend
This once in a lifetime sight
I would be the luckiest person alive
Even if it means letting go of this day, and be swallowed by the night

Consist of a story plot so strange
Filled with events so unexpected
In this chapter full of creases
Is it bravery or ignorance not to be frightened?

To embrace this love full of what ifs
Between the war of hope and ambiguities
Maybe it’s because I just really understand how beautiful things are
How the night is dread without the moon surrounded by the stars

How baffling it is that the most beautiful things are not actual things
Rather they’re people, places, and moments unified to form wonderful memories
How reassuring it is that the most mistrustful person
Can provide you with the most rightful reasons…

To rebuild each of your broken pieces
To cross the vast ocean
To dive into the most painful thoughts
Only to trust the universe that someday everything will make sense

Because just like a story with a beginning, middle, and an end
There will come a day, where we’ll be faced by the darkness of the night
But I will always be here to stay
In our very own twilight
