Welcome to the Blockmason Weekly Update!

Hello, Blockmason community! Another week is upon us, which means it’s time for another Weekly Update.

In this edition of the Weekly Update, Lndr v1.6 development update, announcing the v1.5 launch contest winners and more.

Are you ready? Let’s get started!

Lndr v1.6 development and release date update

December is upon us, and with December comes the release of the next version of Lndr: version 1.6.

As we shared before, Lndr v1.6 adds wallet and settlement support for Binance Coin (BNB). The addition of BNB gives another means of cryptocurrency settlement for Lndr users. BNB can also be used in many ways outside of Lndr, making it a great choice for our next settlement currency.

You can learn more about the Binance Coin and its utility at this blog post: https://medium.com/binanceexchange/10-ways-to-use-bnb-binance-coin-15fe2fbae1ab

In our past Weekly Updates, we stated that our goal for the release of Lndr v1.6 is December 7th. However, given that we are currently in the bug testing phase, that goal isn’t going to be met.

We’re now aiming to release Lndr v1.6 by December 14th, which is still within our official roadmap guidance of December 2018.

Thanks and we look forward to sharing the new version of Lndr with you! Stay tuned to our official communities for further updates.

🏆 We have the winners! Lndr v1.5 launch contest has come to an end.

The Lndr v1.5 launch contest has come to an end.

Blockmason’s Harish Raisinghani at Blockchain Developers Industry Night

Blockmason’s Harish Raisinghani (Business Development) recently joined Lighthouse Labs as a panelist for an evening all about blockchain development,
where new blockchain grads and curious attendees came to make industry connections and learn about some of the current blockchain challenges and where the future of blockchain is moving.

This is the third event we have done with Lighthouse Labs, the most significant of which previously was a full day workshop on developing for blockchain using Blockmason Link.

The night had 4 industry panelists (including Harish) sharing their experiences building blockchain solutions for the real world and discussing the architectural considerations that are often missed by developers.

As part of the blockchain community, we are always happy to continue to support events like this, that allow us to share our experience and help audience members and developers learn more about the potential of blockchain technology.

Lndr is our peer-to-peer bill-splitting and expense-sharing mobile app for iOS and Android. It uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends. Essentially, “Venmo of the blockchain.”

Lndr supports dozens of currencies and allows users to settle debts in Ether (ETH), BNB, DAI stablecoin, as well as fiat currency.

🎁 Make splitting expenses easier this holiday season!

You can download Lndr for iOS on the App Store and Lndr for Android on Google Play

That’s everything for now! Thanks again for being part of the Blockmason community. Don’t forget to add or follow us on your social media networks by clicking on the buttons below.
