Be it gimmicky exercises, stupid paid workout programs, or wallet-destroying worthless supplements, the fitness industry has turned working out into a circus.

As a result, more often than not, the “workout tips” you might see on Instagram or TikTok are absolute bro-science bullsh*t — or as OG fitness YouTuber Scott Herman calls it, “INSTA-GAHHBAGE”.

In the 5 years since I started working out, I’ve gone from 120 pounds of skin and fat to 170 pounds of mostly muscle — yes, all natty, unlike most lying Instagram fitness “influencers”.

The Cheapest Pre-Workout Ever

Pre-workout supplements are exorbitantly priced — and apart from caffeine, the other ingredients are mostly ineffective fluff.

Caffeine is one of the few supplements that has tons of supporting research. And it’s cheap as well — good old black coffee is an excellent source. You could also go for caffeine pills or powder.
