Lego Set 03 — Wasp

I’m actually really proud of this one. It is a simple design that looks really neat on the table. This one comes in Liao colors.

The Wasp has always been one of my favorite BattleMechs. It is a simple, good-looking machine, with a well-defined role that makes a lot of sense. I always had a soft spot for these smaller ‘Mechs, and their designs are quite iconic.

The Wasp itself, on BattleTech lore, is among the first light BattleMechs ever made and has remained a staple of scout machines ever since. It simply works and has had little reason to change for centuries. Its reliability and functionality led to it being built across the Inner Sphere, becoming, thus, a ubiquitous machine across human space. The most common ‘Mech in existence, actually.

The main difference between this model and the ones I actually built is on the feet. I’ve added some actual feet for it to be able to stand on its own on a table, but you can just ignore the feet and snap the lower legs between the studs of a 4x4 plate to have a base.
