Individual pieces of crypto art, the so called non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are heavily responsible for the millions of tonnes of planet-heating carbon dioxide emissions generated by various cryptocurrencies used to buy and sell them. There are those artists that think this type of problem can be resolved quite easily, and there are those who think such proposed solutions to be nothing more than a pipe dream. Either way, widespread blockchain adoption will accelerate at an unprecedented pace and this means that blockchain-based solutions might be the most powerful tool to help fight climate change. All of the potential fixes for carbon emissions emitted by the cryptocurrency industry and specifically by the NFTs are in the works to varying degrees, but they have not been fully adopted as of yet.

There is some utility in the NFT technology, that is not recognisable at first glance. For example, by releasing non-fungible digital visual art, artists as cryptocurrency holders may participate in an ever present struggle against specific adoption of artistic expression and, thus, thematically fight detractors and their biases on various important ideological points facing the world today. Also, by having an NFT option available, crypto platforms open up to a more user friendly audience and attract additional young and old clientele to not only gain financial value, but to maximally personalise one’s wallet asset content as well. The goal here is for a NFT holder to become a collector of sorts, as it was since time immemorial with collectors of various unique and priceless art objects.

The CryptoBlades platform emerges facing these problems with a serious determination. It is a blockchain-based video game which while running on the Binance Smart Chain introduces a whole new concept to the gaming industry — the isomorphic link between the minted NFTs and in-game assets. To put it in layman’s terms, CryptoBlades is a classic level/experience based RPG game that provides a player with a unique character which goes around seeking combat in forms of fighting and raids. Fighting generates SKILL, CryptoBlades’ native token, which then can be used to purchase in-game assets which are representations of a wallet NFT. Everything is NFT — your character, your equipment, weapons, etc. By way of reforging your weapons, a.k.a. Changing one weapon for another, you burn the former one, thus providing the much needed liquidity for the SKILL token.

It is a clever way of implementing a CryptoBlades’ very own Play to Earn NFT system. Every in-game action earns SKILL for the player, hence, the system is embedded in an open market format. The game session itself becomes a cogwheel in a profit generating blockchain machine. And of course, the chain does not stop within the CryptoBlades ecosystem — it is listed on DEX platforms, so SKILL is open to be transacted with and converted to any other BEP-20 cryptocurrency.

Furthermore, the time is ripe to discover that the CryptoBlades team is seriously thinking about going one step further. The uniqueness of their product is not enough, they are also pondering the possibility of attaining the carbon neutral state, or in that case, becoming “green”.

That is the stage where Enrex, specifically their use case, steps up within the boundaries of this partnership and strives to elect the best possible solution to help out their potential partners.

Let us review the aforementioned possible use cases which could tighten the partnership between these different crypto projects even sturdier. A phenomenon of sorts are rising on the horizon — an interactive, highly thematic NFT mint (CryptoBlades) and a market-based opportunity provider for offsetting carbon emissions made during certain crypto business activities (Enrex):

Enrex can provide renewable energy certificates (RECs) fully compliant with the US regulatory authority bodies for any and every crypto operation within the CryptoBlade ecosystem — acquiring SKILL tokens, making transactions with them via DEXes, etc. Enrex would calculate the required electrical energy consumption used for said operations;

● Specifically, when minting NFTs, Enrex will provide a comprehensive plan to offset the emissions coming from it. There is an idea flying in the air that CryptoBlade’s and Enrex’s partnership can generate an offset specific NFT. Think of it this way, if wind power is used to offset the minting of a specific NFT, that NFT may become a unique wind artifact, a card, or a weapon with wind magic capabilities. Just imagine it! A solar power offset produces a ‘Sword of the Sun’, and its attributes, abilities and other properties are uniquely generated just for you! What can be cooler than that? Evidently, this type of offsetting strategy can create an even more diverse inner game world, a more personalised NFT collection, represented as uniquely gained assets within the game. This type of interactivity between the virtual world building of the game and the governance of one’s financial assets within a Binance Smart Chain supported wallet has no theoretical bounds!

The merger of these vastly different crypto projects into a fully fledged partnership shows that the crypto world has no limits. This kind of aspiration produces a perfect match of dreams and execution of them. Enrex will be looking for these types of partnerships in the future, whether they would be with a smaller or a bigger client, and it is paramount to help them to devise a plan for offsetting their carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions coming from their crypto activities. Both CryptoBlade and Enrex have much to gain this way in reaching a bigger audience, as well as, carrying a cleaner climate message with style!
