Oasys has announced a partnership with the South Korean gaming community platform Vortex Gaming. The collaboration will expand Oasys’ presence in the Korean market while enabling Vortex players to access the latest games on Oasys.

Under the partnership with Vortex Gaming, Oasys will be able to tap into a vast community of Korean gamers via Inven, a dominant force in the country’s gaming webzine sector with an impressive 80% market share. This will allow Oasys to engage with South Korean gamers more efficiently and provide them with cutting-edge blockchain gaming experiences.

The collaboration will drive user acquisition and promote the adoption of blockchain technology within Korea’s thriving gaming community. In the process, it will increase the selection of blockchain gaming supported by Vortex, allowing players to tap into an array of popular desktop and mobile releases that incorporate blockchain elements to enhance gameplay.

Vortex Gaming’s content-driven gaming community operates as a web3 subsidiary of Inven. Through strong partnerships with renowned web3 companies including NEAR Protocol, MARBLEX, METABORA SINGAPORE, IoTrust, and Kroma, Vortex Gaming is building a service optimized for web3 games.

Vortex Gaming operates a popular social media gaming platform as well as guild functions based on various games. The brand aims to become the catalyst for the mass adoption of web3 games by providing reliable professional content on a variety of topics such as game information and token economies.

The partnership with Vortex Gaming builds upon Oasys’ existing success in the Korean gaming market as the preeminent gaming chain within the region. It follows the launch of XPLA Verse, an L2 on Oasys developed with participation from South Korea’s Com2uS Group. Oasys aims to onboard more web3 users to its ecosystem while making it easier for players to discover the unique features of blockchain gaming that have made it so popular with players throughout East Asia.

In addition, as a first step in the partnership, Ubisoft’s “Champions Tactics” will launch a campaign for INVEN’s audience to take advantage of Vortex Gaming’s services. Taking place between June 26 and July 7, participants are tasked with different missions to complete in order to receive a Champions Tactics NFT. 50 participants who meet the above requirements will be selected in a drawing.
