Big Day for VINchain — We’ve Joined GAVDA!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve joined the Global Alliance for Vehicle Data Access (GAVDA) — https://gavda.org. Consisting of a large group of global stakeholders, GAVDA is united by the common goal of maintaining motor vehicle owners’ control over personal and vehicle-generated data. User control of data is central to our platform and we’re happy to be able to contribute and unify with other thought leaders around our shared vision.

GAVDA aims to achieve their goal by preserving and enhancing the current vehicle data environment which is open, secure, technology-neutral and provides direct access to real-time data by vehicle owners. Their approach engages a data access model that provides for vehicle owner control, ensures full and fair competition, protects personal privacy and advances data security. Anyone familiar with VINchain’s blockchain will recognize this is a match made in heaven for our decentralized and secure network which collects voluntary data from customers.

Our new membership brings us closer to non-governmental organizations like trade associations, public interest groups, academics, government agencies and others who share our vision and goals. We’re excited to join GAVDA’s ranks and look forward to increased productivity and new opportunities on the horizon.
