I’m honored that Medium was nominated and won runner-up for best designed startup at TechCrunch’s 2014 Crunchies. I did not, and will not, support the form of “entertainment” TJ Miller “performed” during the event. I will not be associated with someone who calls women bitches, jokes about rape, and casually mentions pedophilia. It took an extremely talented group of men and women to make Medium come to life. The women I work with, and women everywhere, deserve more. Utterly disappointed.
