Business is often conducted in the most unusual places. The final negotiations and signing of documents might take place in the office. But the handshake that seals the deal can happen anywhere. Sometimes it happens in the most unexpected places.

Some investors like to talk about business in some of these unexpected places. Others don’t necessarily like it but it just happens that it is where the action takes place.

Rich investors get pitched almost every time. And they say NO a lot. Sometimes, they don’t even read or think about the pitch before they reject it. Therefore, the best pitch is often one that does not look like a pitch. Sometimes it is the unprepared speech that works wonders.

There are 2 important things you want to have on your side when pitching an investor. They are:

  • Pre-interest
