Why Data Science Grads Should Use LinkedIn to Request Referrals

As you, a data science grad or entry-level candidate, apply for your first data job, consider this: Candidates who receive an employee referral are 15 times more likely to be hired than those who don’t.

And while I have mixed feelings about LinkedIn as a platform, connecting on LinkedIn is still one of the best ways to directly network with data science professionals at your dream company.
