The end of October became unusually hot as two major events of the Dubai Blockchain Week gathered visitors from all over the world. Industry leaders, innovators, and investors met in luxurious spaces of UAE’s largest city for a week of events that included Dubai’s World Blockchain Summit and World Blockchain STO Summit. In addition to the seminars and networking opportunities, Startup World Cup held one of it’s International Qualifiers. Startup World Cup is a global series of conferences and competitions that bring together the top startups, investors, entrepreneurs and tech CEOs around the world. Starting with regional competitions in nearly 40 countries, hundreds of selected top technology startups compete for the chance to move into the Grand Finale event in San Francisco, California to win a $1 million investment grand prize.

Singapore based blockchain startup QUUBE Exchange won the qualifying event in Dubai and earned a slot to pitch at the $1 million Startup World Cup Grand Finale culminating in San Francisco on May 2020. In his winning pitch at Dubai World Blockchain Summit, QUUBE Vice President Malcolm Tan detailed QUUBE’S business model and plan to build the world’s first quantum-resistant ecosystem for startups, investors, and traders. The scope of the project includes an STO/IEO launchpad and an exchange for securitized tokens.

QUUBE’s model addresses two key issues important to regulators and investors alike. The focus on securitized tokens helps ensure regulatory compliance among the projects launched from the QUUBE STO Launchpad and quantum security is seen as a leading-edge solution to a looming threat. In light of Google’s recent progress in the development of quantum computing and the ever-present regulatory concerns in the space, QUUBE’s timing could not be better.

Even before the pitch competition winner was announced, every attendee at Dubai World Blockchain Week heard something about QUUBE, which was among the top sponsors of the events.

On October 22nd QUUBE Exchange CEO & Co-Founder Anzor “ENZO” Zhemukhov pitched to H.E. Zulfiquar Ghadiyali, CEO of the Private Family Office of Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Sayed Bin Tahoon Al Nahyan and a crowd of people attending the event. After the winning pitch was announced, everyone took notice of QUUBE.

The QUUBE Team left Dubai Blockchain Week excited about the future. The project team will continue to work towards milestones as they look forward to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in May. Enzo stated, “We are looking forward to networking with fellow startups and investors in San Francisco and very excited about the opportunity to pitch QUUBE Exchange and compete for $1 million a the Startup World Cup.
