In today’s world, hustling is seen as a badge of honor.

Working long hours and exhausting yourself to the point that you can’t function anymore are seen as symbols of being a hard worker. It’s almost as if without being an achiever, you can’t have a sense of self-worth.

But it’s all of that really true? Do we really need to work ourselves to the bone just so that we can say that we’ve had a productive day?

Things can get even worse when you are a freelance writer. As a self-employed person, there aren’t any schedules you’re needed to stick to. The more time you spend in front of a screen, the better your prospects can be. And so, you get sucked into that constant loop of working, reworking, and overworking, until you reach the point where you don’t know day from night.
