You might have read my article where I said that reading books is now useless.

There is a better way than reading a book, which is to study the book.

Reading without implementation is useless.

As well as using our eyes to “read” the words from the book we are reading without understanding them.

This is why I made a free template for you. I hope you can use it as an easy way to study books with implementation guides.

This template is free, as is my life-changing blueprint.

You can download it from the link here: Let’s start studying!

Updated Version 18/2, 2024.

What’s new?

  • Examples for each section will help readers write easily.
  • Questions to discover with answers pages
  • Books that correlate with or connect with the book summary.
  • Smaller lines to add more words and write it easily.
  • Border lines
  • Whiter blank pages to make more visible what we write.
  • Added version for printing

1. Information

Begin by writing down information about the book and explaining why you chose to read it. Share your motivation, expectations, or any background details that motivate you to read the book.

2. My Summary

Write down a summary of the book in your own words to make it easier to understand.

3. Visualization

Create diagrams, mind maps, or sketches that illustrate key ideas that could help you understand the concept or ideas easily.

4. Key Points

This is where you write down the key points extracted from the book. These could be crucial concepts, arguments, or insights that you find particularly impactful or noteworthy.

5. Quotes

This is a quote that you find interesting or that motivates you to become better in life.

6. Personal Reflections

Reflect on your personal thoughts and feelings about the book. Discuss how the content has influenced your perspective, opinions, or even your daily life. This section adds a personal touch to your notes.

7. Questions to discover

Identify any questions that you find interesting and want to research more about in the future. This will help you to complete your understanding.

I added something new to answer the questions you discovered, so you don’t have to look far beyond your own.

8. Books correlated to this

Feel free to list down your books that you want to read in the future or books that you found connected to the book you are studying.

9. About Me (Kevin Nokia)

Just a brief introduction of me.

10. Content Improvement Evaluation

If you love this template or you dislike it, feel free to give your own suggestions of what’s wrong and what’s right for future content.

You are allowed to adjust or write down ideas or notes in your own style, and you are supposed to do that because this is just a tool to help you study books, not a rule.

So, feel free to study your books and implement them in your life.

Happy studying! 📚
