How to NOT Become a Smart Wannabe Success Person

They love to talk and give advice, but they don’t take any action toward their goals or follow their own advice.

Wannabe success people are so smart.

They are so smart, telling us this and that. They tell me to do this and avoid doing that. But they didn’t do the work at all. They are just telling people.

  • Who thinks too much, plans too much, and doesn’t take any action?
  • Who watches motivational videos and tutorial videos but doesn’t start working?
  • Who likes to tell other people, explain this and that, and get angry when they don’t follow what they say but still don’t take any action?

Those are smart-wannabe success people.

They are smart. They are intellectual. They beat Albert Einstein on how to achieve success.

Well, intelligence alone doesn’t guarantee success.

Intelligence without action

I have a friend who loves to give me advice, even if I don’t need to.

I’m grateful if he gives me advice if I’m struggling or need some advice. But this time, I don’t ask for any advice, but he tells me to do this and that. He ordered me to follow his advice and get sensitive if I didn’t follow what he said.

Well, it’s kind of annoying, to be honest.

I have a mentor too; when I’m working in insurance, he gives me solid advice.

I follow the advice because he has already experienced it and has taken action on it. He did make some progress, and every day he pushes me to do work.

But in my case here, what does my friend do?

He always finds excuses to do work, but he always tells me to do this and that, which is stupid.

Advice gurus

The problem is that people around us sometimes give advice that they aren’t really giving.

After giving those advices, they sometimes feel like the smartest man in the world.

This is why I avoid listening to my friends a lot. I don’t see their progress toward their own goals. I don’t see any action that they take. They just talk over and over again. Giving advice that they even didn’t do it.

I’m not telling you not to hear any advice. Keep your ears open for advice, adjust the best for your well-being, and then follow through.

This is why, to avoid becoming a wannabe smart person, you need to progress.

Progression kills words

The key to progression is to start doing the thing.

Always start taking action.

Most people stuck with the preparation. They stuck with thinking too much. They didn’t take any action.

As a result, there’s no progress, and we should start blaming this and that.

Preparation is important. You still need to prepare and plan for whatever action you want to take. Without a proper plan, that means you are preparing for failure.

I always spend some time before taking any action towards my goals.

  • I find things that could hold me down or distract me.
  • I started studying, doing research, and finding out if this was the right choice to make.
  • I did some calculations with the energy that I will put into the progress and the result to determine whether it will be worth it or not.

But.

At the end, I still take action.

Always focus on progressing

I still start progressing and doing some work, even if it’s just a little bit.

It’s okay if you’re not taking a big step on the first day. At least consistently doing it every day.

Here’s why consistency is pretty important to achieving success: without consistency, you might not be able to achieve success.

The key to success for me is not consistency alone.

It’s discipline combined with consistency.

Intellectual vs disciplined and consistent

As you can see, I didn’t mention smart, intellectual, or high IQ. All of those help.

But the thing that most helps to make progress and achieve success is discipline and consistency. Those help a lot — I mean, a lot — in the progress of achieving your goals.

I started working out at the gym, and I found progress in my body, mind, and habits. I stick to my habits easily and gain confidence to go outside or attend social events.

Imagine if I didn’t take any action at the start.

The scenario would be like this: I might go to the gym once a week, but I am not disciplined enough to follow my schedule of going to the gym four times a week. I then lost my confidence and became lazier.

Discipline and consistency are the main points here.

  • You don’t need a perfect plan.
  • You don’t need a perfect partner.
  • You don’t need any extra planning.

You just need to start taking action and start working.

Evaluate while progressing, which is much better than not progressing at all.

How can you see the battlefield if you didn’t take any steps towards it?

After I became disciplined and consistent, which I was working on right now, I gained more confidence to achieve my goals.

I have become consistent in writing, reading, and other good habits that I am working on. I’m in love with learning; I don’t get emotional easily, and I become much happier.

I easily attract girls; this is for guys who want to find any girls. I gained the confidence to go to social events and make friends.

Discipline and consistency help more than achieving your goals.

It helps you to change your life.

How do I become disciplined and consistent?

How do you avoid becoming smart-wannabe success people who don’t take any action?

1. Set clear goals, of course.

Setting clear goals for what you want to do, why you want to do it, and how you do it is important.

Find out exactly as specific as you can about what you want to achieve.

Set deadlines so you can focus and start working.

2. Develop a routine.

Make a schedule.

Make a morning routine or a night routine.

All is up to you, but remember to write down your routines, habits, and schedules that you want to focus on on a piece of paper.

This helps you become committed and consistent in the future.

3. Evaluate.

Always evaluate!

Do not underestimate this.

Remind yourself of what you are focusing on that you have written on a piece of paper. This helps you not get distracted easily.

After that, evaluate what’s wrong and what’s right.

This is where I explain in my life-changing pdf guidance that you can set goals, evaluate them, make a routine, etc. Those are included in my free PDF with life-changing guidance.

In the journey to success, consistency and discipline are key.

They build the foundation upon which true and lasting success is built.

Avoid being smart-wannabe success people and start taking action.

By building consistency and discipline, you can achieve more. More than you ever thought possible. You can outshine those who rely solely on their smarts.

Remember, it’s not about how fast you can run the race, but how steadily you can keep moving forward.

It’s a marathon. Not a sprint.
