There are many sounds in home. Sometimes too many, I think. When everyone is home, I hear my dogs barking, my sister yelling at the TV because her favorite character died, and my mother yelling at me to do the dishes. Ah yes, what a lovely home. Here is the funny part; the thing that reminds me most about home is my dishwasher. Yup, you read that correctly- my dishwasher.
I do not know why my dishwasher reminds me of home, but it does. As I write this, it churns behind me, occasionally making a loud swishing sound that tells me it is doing its job. I am putting a recording of my dishwasher (and other homely sounds) below this post so you can hear what I hear while I do chores and homework around my house.
