February was fast but it was all about Stronger Partnership and Community, Scaling new heights with NFTs!
February just went by so fast! Considering it has the shortest production days to beat deadlines, still, the team was able to deliver all its targets, and that’s the real strength of the tiger that lives in us! 🐯 Now, we’re ready again to soak in one of the hottest months for SparkPoint, the month of March! ☀️
March is the start of summertime here in the Philippines. It gives us this kind of state of mind that is more vibrant and refreshed! Such a perfect time to heat things up with SparkPoint too! But as we slowly move to this new season, join this short walkthrough of updates and accomplishments that made our February. 🚀

1. SparkPoint and MetaGaming Guild Strategic Partnership brought to next level
On February 11, SparkPoint took its strategic partnership with MetaGaming Guild to the next level!
This partnership will direct to democratizing the game finance to everyone as MGG will be using the SparkPoint Wallet’s crypto-to-fiat exchange (on-ramp and off-ramp) in the future, offering a more convenient and faster transfer of funds to the scholars under their financing program.
Meanwhile, SparkPoint token (SRK) will also be used in MGG’s platform once it is fully developed, such as in Game Yield Farming and integration in the upcoming P2E NFT game of MetaGaming Guild, and other MGG’s products or services. MGG will also be integrated into SparkPoint’s ecosystem, such as the SparkPoint Wallet and SparkDeFi.

2. First #SparkyNFT Collection, The Vulpes Gang went sold out!
Cheers to a productive launch of our first 100-piece #SparkyNFT Collection, The Vulpes Gang! We sold all the pieces last February 10, 2022, amounting to a total sale of 19 BNB.

3. The Vulpes Gang Second Collection got released
Here comes the Second Collection of The Vulpes Gang! It’s another 100 pieces of NFT Vulpes minted on SparkNFT platform, and they are now up for grabs.
To date, we have 141 NFT Vulpes sold already.

4. The Sparky VIP Badge was launched
Sparky VIP Badge has been presented to the public! It is dubbed as Orgullo Badge, (pronounced as or-gul-yo in Bicol language) a Spanish word for Pride.
The Orgullo badge is an emblem of loyalty and pride, hence given to our VIPS for being one of the biggest holders of SRK in the form of an NFT.
And these aren’t just some ordinary NFT badges. The following features and utilities will be associated with the NFT:
- It will serve as a multiplier of allocation for exclusive private sales through Sparky VIP Club, and IDO launchpad sales.
- Can be used soon on upcoming features and daps of SparkNFT platform, like NFT staking, farming, etc.

5. SparkNFT Self-mint function for Orgullo Badge went live
The Self-minting function/button in SparkNFT platform got opened alongside the launch of Orgullo Badge. VIPs can easily access this minting function and claim their VIP Badges.

6. NFTrade graced the #SparkyCommunity AMA Session
NFTrade’s Head of Communication, Mr. Harrison Seletsky, joined the #AMA chat last February 23, 2022.
NFTrade is one of the first decentralized cross-chain NFT platforms, marketplaces, and indexers, allowing users to unlock the full value of the NFT ecosystem.
In addition, the NFTrade Platform serves as the secondary marketplace for SparkPoint NFTs (SparkNFT).
7. NFT Gallery Integration on SparkPoint Wallet’s Updated Version 8.1
The latest update of SparkPoint Wallet Version brings NFT Gallery to users.
NFT Gallery is a built-in dapp where users can handle their NFT Collections easily and store them with confidence in SparkPoint Wallet Version 8.1.0.

8. Discord Community keeps growing, target number of members for the first batch was reached.
Finally, the #SparkyCommunity on Discord is expanding! We’ve already reached the 500+ mark of members but the Community Raffle is still running as we aim to hit the maximum target number of members.
Alongside this campaign, different Games are being held inside the Discord Channel and the integration of Collab.land is ongoing.
By connecting the wallet address via Collab.land, members can access the exclusive channels such as the Rank Exclusive Channel (which will depend on the SRK/SRKb holdings of a member) and The Vulpes Gang NFT holders lounge.

9. SparkLearn EdTech set a countdown for the launch of their Web App
On January 31, 2022, the company released its early preview for its MOOC web app called SparkLearn EdTech and started the countdown last Feb 2, 2022. The launch date was set on March 1, 2022.
The SparkLearn Web App offers free and paid courses especially for beginners who wants to be familiarized in the vast world of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Experienced developers and other users will also have access to relevant articles that will help their crypto journey.

10. SparkPoint Team welcomes new members
As the products and services are continuously being improved, the SparkPoint team can’t stop from growing too! SparkPoint continues to hire skilled and resolute individuals who will contribute exceptional ideas and force to deliver all targets. The team welcomed new members of the family: Mat Ivan and Justin as Junior Full Stack Developers, Mae as Blockchain Developer, Ray as the new Marketing Associate and Bhey as an HR Assistant.
SparkPoint Global Ventures also welcomed Ms. Rachel, as the dedicated Marketing Specialist who will work hand in hand with SparkPoint’s Marketing team and assist partners of SGV.
