Making You the #1 Priority Again

The era of working for a company for decades and getting a nice retirement package is long gone. You have to treat yourself like a business entity when it comes to work.

No company will make you their priority. Regardless of what they tell you, that is just not something they can do. If the company is bleeding money, they will do whatever they need to stay alive. And if that means firing you, they will not hesitate.

I cringe when I see people who are loyal to their employers. You are not in a cartel. Your colleagues are not your family. Yes, you must work harmoniously with your co-workers. But they are not putting you first. Don’t think they will have your back when push comes to shove.
