Strength Training Is the Truth. Period.

As a natural, literally, everything you see perpetrated by popular fitness “influencers” is b.s.
If you’re injecting a copious amount of steroids up your butt every week, bro-splits, half-reps, and gimmicky exercises “might” work well.
But it’s highly non-optimal if you aren’t on PEDs.
I didn’t realize this until 2 years into my fitness journey — but the moment I switched to a strength-focused Push-Pull-Legs (PPL) for the first time, my gains exploded.
Within 6 months, my progress overshadowed that of the previous 2 years.
Strength training is way superior to pop-culture “bodybuilding” training for 7 main reasons:
- Progressive overload is the only factor necessary for continuous strength and muscle gain. Strength training handles this beautifully.
- Compound lifts allow you to load a large amount of your musculature with massive weights. This means higher strength, muscle, and work capacity.
- Bro-splits train every muscle only once a week — research has shown this to be inferior to twice a week, as with PPL…
