Lamden Dev Update — May 13th, 2019

Happy Monday! Dev Update day again! Please take some time to read below and discuss.

Cilantro

• Worked on completion of Cilantro-JS library.
• Added genesis smart contract loader to the cilantro catchup module.
• Worked on test cases for the Block Aggregator.
• Researched Scheduler requirements.
• Fixed some scripts.
• Added some unit test cases for delegate code.
• Spent time planning and discussing design ideas to improve test infra.

Contracting

• Work has begun on a Contracting Frontend light IDE to allow developers lint and test their smart contracts.
• Worked on providing API endpoints for Contracting IDE.
• Finishing up import restrictions on Contracting to get a stable release out.
• Standing instance of Contracting webserver up in AWS with CI/CD for use with upcoming Contracting Frontend. This includes full SSL support.
• Worked on Contracting package.

What’s Next?

This week we will continue working on completion of Cilantro-JS library. We will also continue work on the Contracting IDE with a goal to have an initial iteration completed this week.
