2019 Taipei Nextlink Tech Forum Successfully Concludes
Nextlink, the distributor of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the greater China region hosted a tech forum in order to connect Taiwanese companies globally by inviting enterprises to discuss technology practices and their previous partnerships with foreign companies.
ioeX CEO Aryan was invited to the event to share his insights in “Trailblazing in IoT and Blockchain Global Experience Share”. ioeX CEO Aryan shared his experiences with industry partners with a talk that included examples of ioeX working with foreign enterprises and institutes while also detailing the company’s origins and vision as well as how the company worked with South Korea’s Liberty Korea Party to build a blockchain voting system.
The event attracted many big data analysis enthusiasts including department managers, system administrators, developers, technical specialists and system architects for what was basically an assembly of experts in technology.
ioeX consultant, Elastos Capital Chairman Hu Dinghe was also at the event. Special thanks to Chairman Hu Dinghe for warming up the crowd as our guest before ioeX CEO Aryan took the stage; it was definitely an unprecedented blessing.
During the speech, ioeX CEO Aryan mentioned the founding process of ioeX and mentioned that while the parent company and technical team of ioeX, HengHung Technology had only been founded for 4 years since 2015, most of his colleagues worked alongside him in Hon Hai Precision since 2005. Throughout his 10 years at Hon Hai Precision, Aryan encountered more than 200 likeminded colleagues and when he selected members for ioeX, he picked the top 23 elite candidates to leave Hon Hai Precision and venture out in this entrepreneurial effort.
During the event, ioeX CEO Aryan emphasized a problem often faced by smart device manufacturers. They seem to make money when a device is sold, but they often miscalculate the warranty period of a device; if a company provides a 3-year warranty, that means they must periodically update the smart devices sold to consumers over a 3-year period and this could lead to massive costs. All of a sudden, that money-making business becomes a losing venture over the long run. This is what ioeX CEO Aryan realized in 2011. ioeX is striving to link all smart devices across the world by gathering extra, idle storage space to form a massively distributed network that will allow smart devices manufacturers to deliver OTA updates at reduced cost.
In 2014, the ioeX team released a prototype of the distributed network and today they continue to strive in the integration and landing of blockchain and IoT. The team at ioeX published the open source code of their technology on Github with the belief that good things are meant to be shared. ioeX doesn’t fear challenge and looks forward to facing off with outside technical talent in the hopes of mutual growth.
