Real success begins when you start having haters. Before then, you practically do not stand for anything. And if you don’t stand for anything, you really don’t have a purpose in life. Or at least, you are not living like it. While most gurus, mentors, and coaches ask you to find what you love or what you love doing, I do the opposite. Find what you would like people to hate you for. Let me explain why this is so powerful.

No Haters, No Diehard Fans

I’ll never forget listening to a famous online coach a few months back. She said when she started, she would use words like “universe” in her messaging. And she wasn’t getting much in results.

This is because privately, she is a Christian and more aligned with “God” and “Jesus”. But because of the industry she is, she feels she doesn’t have to bring religion in. But she always feels uncomfortable when using “universe”.

But after a while, she went “what the heck” and switched to using “God” in her messaging instead of “universe”. The result? Her business exploded.
