The Apple Watch superpowers quadruple if everything in it is kept on.

However, its battery juices are largely limited by its size — And Apple couldn’t pour more. Hence, we often find them quickly running out of power. Though you may have a power bank with you, it couldn’t help your Watch escape charge cycles, obviously.

So here are 15 Apple Watch settings to turn off now and use only when you really need them.

#1. Background App Refresh

The Background App Refresh is the #1 battery sucker. This basically feeds preselected apps with internet at regular intervals, which use it to update their data — like new mails, messages, downloads etc.

However, you don’t always need apps to stay updated with new data. It also drains battery and cellular limit. As you know, apps update data as soon as you open them, which’d be pretty much okay.

So, consider disabling it, at least for specific apps.
