Riches chase courage. Money follows confidence. Fortune favors the bold.

All entrepreneurs meet with failure. They all go through tough times. No tough situation is insignificant. It doesn’t matter whether you have $1 billion in bad debts or you can no longer afford the payment on your house (and you are about to be kicked out).

The depressing feeling is the same, regardless of what triggered it. And it can be a very lonely place. You can be going through hell and not have the heart to mention it to another person. And the world can think all is well with you.

But if you are going to survive and come out on top of the situation, it is going to be based on your unwillingness to fail. And not just that. Your drive to succeed will also determine your fate.

Lots of entrepreneurs play not to fail. They don’t fire hard at their chance of success. They just continue to play it safe and hope that someday, success would find them. Interestingly, entrepreneurs like that don’t end up very rich.

Life can be very unpredictable. I have seen smart ideas fail and foolish ideas rise to the top. But one thing seems consistent. There are common traits entrepreneurs that end up very rich.
