📍Bitmain will start selling Antminer S17 from April 9

Beijing-based technology company Bitmain announced that its next-generation mining equipment will go on sale on April 9, 2019, but prices have not yet been published.

Although the details on the new ASICs are relatively small, it is known that Bitmain will release a whole new line of S17 hardware — at least three models are on the way: Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17 and Antminer T17.

📍SEC postponed decision making on Bitcoin-ETFs from VanEck and Bitwise

The SEC postponed a second time deciding whether Bitwise meets their Bitcoin ETF requirements and is ready for investors. In this way, an asset management firm joins a long list of candidates, including VanEck, SolidX and CBoE.

By submitting documents in January, a San Francisco-based firm planned to launch Bitcoin ETF with physical asset support, and after 45 days the SEC had to make a decision. However, the regulator states that the decision will be made public in mid-May.

📍The average commission on cryptocurrency exchanges is 0.44%

According to The Block, the average transaction fee on cryptocurrency exchanges is 0.44%.

Meanwhile, the American trading platform Gemini charges its users 2%. The second and third largest commissions are Bitstamp and Bittrex, respectively.

Least of all, its users charge the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, followed by KuCoin and BitFlyer, which, on average, charge 0.44% per transaction.
