What’s your name and job title?
Tom Roetgering, 35, CCO.
How long have you been at the GET Protocol foundation?
Since the beginning. We had a concept, money and a big customer that believed in what we were doing. This made us realise that this could become a business. So we started!
What do you do exactly?
Being the ice-breaker. Contact new prospects, talk to our current network, look for new developers, pay the bills and a variety of other different tasks. Also, I like bargaining, so I am responsible for that as well.
How do you describe what you do here to your friends or family?
We make the ticketing market honest with blockchain technology.
What do you do when you are not at the office?
Enjoying my time with my family and friends. I also like to explore new places, finding hidden gems (for example: new places in the city). I like biking different routes through Amsterdam, also when I am going to work. Also I like running and cycling.
What do you think Kasper’s secret for his productivity is?
I think Kasper Keunen is actually German. His family name is actually Kuenen oder Köhnen. The mentality of a German is pünktlich, gründlich, ordentlich und so weiter. That’s the secret I think.
Where do you see GET protocol in three years?
GET is a big ticket engine that runs millions of honest tickets a year for big artists, venues and other event organisers in different countries.
Any personal message to the community?
Thanks for all support, it’s great to have a community that really helps us. And a community that believes in our mission. Keep on talking about us, because Word Of Mouth is the best form of marketing!
