By now, you have gotten your $ADAO tokens and if you are yet to acquire $ADAO, you can purchase them directly from Pact. Getting $ADAO tokens is great. It is an expression of your commitment to supporting Algorand’s Web3 and DeFi ecosystem.
After you have acquired $ADAO, you can put the tokens to work through $ADAO staking. When you stake $ADAO on the AlgoDAO platform, you earn $SIGMA tokens, which is an index pool of all projects that AlgoDAO incubates. For more information on how SIGMA works, check out this guide.
Staking $ADAO also gives you participation rights in future IDOs on AlgoDAO.
This is a guide on how to stake your $ADAO tokens on AlgoDAO.
Step 1: Visit app.algodao.fi/staking and connect your wallet to the platform
Step 2: Select the wallet you would like to connect and press “use”
Step 3: Sign the transaction to connect your wallet
Step 4: Input the desired amount of tokens to stake on the platform.
You can also press max to stake all $ADAO tokens then press “STAKE ADAO”.
Step 5: Sign the transaction to complete the staking request
Step 6: Review your stake on the homepage for confirmation
