DLT101 is a global blockchain forum that gathers leaders in the industry from around the world. The event’s acronym: Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is one of the recent indicators in technological advancement and at DLT101, 3 major themes were explored. Distributed technology, STO laws and project exchanges, and the development of financial technology with the perspective of investment institutes. The event invited tech investors, institutes, cryptocurrency partners, startup teams, and tech-inclined members of the public.

DLT101 is possibly the biggest international stage for blockchain, so why was it held in Taiwan?

Taiwan boasts the greatest level in freedom of speech for Chinese speaking countries but has yet to establish comprehensive laws to regulate cryptocurrency industries. Taiwan is relatively lax when it comes to monitoring cryptocurrencies when compared to other countries and therefore, it has become the hub of blockchain/cryptocurrencies in Chinese speaking regions. Thus, Taiwan has become the location for many blockchain events and often hosts massive blockchain forums and summits.

ioeX CEO Aryan was honored to receive invitation from event organizers and appeared at the finale of the 3-day event to give a talk on “How the Tech Industry Integrated Decentralized Technologies to Change the World”. He was joined by Dexon Foundation Capital & Lab CEO Edwin Yin and Binance Blockchain Charity Foundation Director Jill Ni. ioeX CEO Aryan discussed how the team at ioeX integrated blockchain with IoT, how they ensured and executed a proper blockchain landing, and increasing usage by improving convenience.

During the English-speaking event, a host moderated the discussion between guests; the ioeX team has selected some of the best questions for your reading pleasure:

Moderator: How will decentralized/blockchain technology change the world?

ioeX CEO Aryan: Traditionally, the internet has managed software and hardware through the central hub method which is susceptible to issues of data security. Utilizing a blockchain/distributed/decentralized method to manage systems can improve data credibility and prevent tampering.

Moderator: How do you apply blockchain to the actual society?

ioeX CEO Aryan: Our vision at ioeX is to apply blockchain technology in society in a way so seamless that people won’t notice its’ use in their existing software/hardware. The ioeX team is working with the National Assembly of South Korea and assisting Liberty Korea Party with building a blockchain voting system. South Korean voters will be voting with blockchain without even knowing it. ioeX apps are designed with interfaces and user experiences that the general public is familiar with, so they won’t have to spend extra energy to learn a new set of systems.

Moderator: Can our guests provide cases of blockchain application?

ioeX CEO Aryan: For ioeX, there was a roadshow event in Korea where we were introduced with a congressman in their national assembly. The congressman gave ioeX the opportunity to bid on Liberty Korea Party’s blockchain voting system. The client didn’t know how blockchain could be integrated into a voting system so Aryan proposed that we create a voting system prototype within 1 week to help them understand. The prototype was completed a week later and our partners at Liberty Korea Party contacted ioeX to discuss our future partnership.

Moderator: How do all of our guests here convince investors to invest in cryptocurrency products?

ioeX CEO Aryan: IOEX just successfully concluded our IEO event and listing on LBank Exchange. However, the goal at ioeX is to release and land good blockchain products; we believe that if by releasing good products, investors will naturally have great confidence in ioeX.

During the forum, Jill Ni, Director of Binance Blockchain Charity Foundation was also invited to introduce the foundation’s initiatives for education programs in Africa. She mentioned Binance’s current project with Uganda and the government’s acceptance for Binance’s charity foundation to give local residents an education in blockchain and hardware/software outreach projects. After the forum, Jill made a special effort to speak with Aryan.

What other future developments are in store at ioeX? The ioeX team once again thanks DLT101 for the invitation and we ask our fans to follow ioeX on social media platforms for all of the latest ioeX news.
