For those who didn’t watch Dragon Crossing’s Town Hall 2, here’s a quick summary:
- All of the contracts are written. The team is testing out different chains. Deploying to almost any chain will be relatively easy. (26:39)
- There are a few ways you can earn rewards in the game. If you have a Genesis Hero, you can find summoning shards while questing. Any hero can also find skill books while questing. There will also be season rewards that can be earned by performing well in the game compared to other players. (32:12)
- There are no genes involved when summoning a new hero. For example: a summoning shard found by a Genesis Mage can summon any class of hero. (33:24)
- The mint will probably be 2 weeks before game launch. (34:04)
- If items are in your inventory, you can lose them when you die. To avoid losing your NFTs (summoning shards and skill books) you need to Camp and sign a transaction for each item you want to move to the chain. NFTs in your wallet are safe from being lost by dying. (35:33)
- Camping will use up all of your hero’s quests. You can think of Camp as a save point for your soon-to-be NFTs. (35:52)
- Only the hero you Camp with loses his remaining quests of the day. If you have other heroes, they won’t lose their quests. (37:52)
- There will be 2 minting options: Regular Mint and Boosted Mint. (38:57)
- With a Boosted Mint you’ll be able to choose your hero’s class and gender, and you’ll have a higher probability of getting a higher rarity hero.
- The Boosted Mint option will have a slightly higher price than the Regular Mint.
- There’s another hidden Boosted Mint benefit that will be revealed later on. (40:00)
- Here’s an opportunity to get whitelisted: (45:10)
- Summoning Shard drop rate won’t be disclosed by the team. (49:30)
- All NFT trading will be available at launch but not in game. You’ll be able to trade in third-party marketplaces. (55:11)
- The team is discussing a bonus for those who are whitelisted and are not able to mint during the whitelist phase. This will be announced later on. (57:19)
- The style of gameplay will most likely incentivize having multiple heroes. But the fact that heroes have a limited amount of quests per day also benefits players who don’t have multiple hours to play. These players will have the same opportunity to compete for season rewards as everyone else. Those who want to play more time each day will need to own multiple heroes. Also having multiple heroes will increase the chance of getting NFT item rewards, like summoning shards and skill books. (59:23)
