Leading Freelance Platform Expands to Canada
Moonlighting announced today its first foray outside the US with international expansion to Canada. With the demand for its industry-leading freelance hiring platform growing rapidly throughout the US, Moonlighting will include Canadian recruiters and freelancers to bring the gig economy’s fastest on-demand hiring solution to the rest of North America.

Starting in August, freelancers and recruiters in Canada will be able to participate in the platform and engage over 650,000 freelancers throughout North America. Leading local media companies will also introduce Moonlighting’s on-demand hiring platform throughout the country via top news publications in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Windsor and Vancouver.
The expansion to Canada is just the first phase of the company’s larger plan to incorporate blockchain technology into its platform to meet the growing demand for freelancing worldwide and expand to Europe later this year.
