The Blockchain Connect Conference Recap
The Blockchain Connect Conference — Silicon Valley 2018 was held in June, hosted by SVInsight.
This event consists of 2 days.
On the conference day, we set up a booth in the exhibition hall, Heidi gave a speech, and we also attended the speaking section. We also interviewed a lot of large names in the crypto space including CEO of HBUS Frank Fu, Draper Dragon Managing Partner Andy Tang, BTCC Co-Founder Bobby Lee, and many more…
The speakers provided insightful information on the world token economics, including global regulations and the overall health of the market. We also heard lots of inspiring talks from thought leaders like Jeffrey Wernick. Wernick was a traditional Wall Street investor and has 40 years of experience which include investments in Uber and Airbnb. After these investments, he turned his focus to bank transactions, lending platforms, and the blockchain industry. He believes that there is an inherent problem with startup companies within the crypto industry. Wenick thinks a lot of people are taking advantage of ICOs but not trying to solve real-world problems.
We here at BOOSTO, are working hard to solve real-world problems within the influencer marketing industry. We believe that online talents, thought leaders, and creators deserve much better compensations than what they’re currently receiving. We believe that the blockchain technology will change the way online talents monetize their work in a much better way. In conclusion, we had a great time at the Blockchain Connect Conference. We met a lot of amazing people from different projects. Also, we managed to educate lots of people about the importance of supporting their creators and makers. Lastly, we managed to explain the importance of blockchain technology utilization and its potential to change the world of influencers and developers as we know it. We will keep working on bringing back the power to creators and makers.
