WULET platform explained by the WULET CTO.

Our CTO Alex Popov joined us to today to talk you through the Wulet platform structure and it’s main parts. No complicated stories. Wulet explained nice and easy.

Our platform is fully operated on the blockchain with the help external and internal modules. The internal ones are tailored to ensure the platform operation, while the external modules are made for outside integrations.

All of our partners differ by the integration method: external loyalty systems (the loyalty points management and accounting are centralized) and internal loyalty systems (fully implemented on the WULET platform). The platform is imagined in the center by a single module in order to simplify the scheme.

The applications used within the WULET platform differ by two types: applications for partners and users (used for e-commerce and payment integration); and applications for private integration solutions (meaning, platform management, admin tools, etc.). I’ll talk about them more in detail below.

The key components of the platform are smart contracts on the EOS blockchain. The EOS blockchain was the most efficient for us to pick because the interaction among smart contracts and modules is realized through messages in transactions (standard for the EOS approach).

Client applications are web and mobile applications for loyalty token holders. They manage keys, obtain tokens while making purchases, monitor the balance of tokens, exchange tokens through the exchange and provide with the ability to pay in tokens.

Partners applications are web or mobile applications for managing loyalty programs. These applications implement WU token balance management, manage the system integration as a whole, and collect statistical information for handy management of the loyalty program.

Integration solutions are tools for integration with external loyalty systems. It works through a two-way data exchange between the platform (the External Loyalty contract) and the external loyalty system.

Web/POS Integration is made for integration with payment terminals and E-commerce. This module implements an API, so the terminals or web-stores can transmit information about the charging of tokens or write-offs in the purchase offset.

Finally, there are Admin tools, they are a set of tools to simplify the management of the platform: creating tokens (partner loyalty points), managing WU tokens, updating platform contracts and more.

Hope, I made the whole platform configuration clear to you! I’ll see you in the next posts!
