Doubting oneself is a practice most of us are proficient in, we doubt our capabilities and talents all the time.

The crippling doubt that someone feels at their core, that they will never be good enough or they will never be able to succeed in life and are destined to fail is not a great feeling.

As someone who has dealt with this feeling in the past, I can assure you that this feeling will leave you like an empty shell, you can fall in the pit of depression and self-pity.

Extreme self-doubt in oneself leads to procrastination and hesitancy, which leads to an extreme amount of tension and stress.

The biggest reason is an unhappy childhood. Parents mirror all their insecurities on their kids. They fear that they will end up like them.

They always want good for us, but sometimes they screw up, at last, they are human too.

Now you cannot go back to the past to change your childhood, but you can adopt some useful habits which can help you regain your lost confidence.

It takes time to overcome your self-doubt, but it can be achieved with consistent practice and a positive attitude.
