There is a national day for Working Like a Dog. It celebrates those who work hard, usually without taking a break.

The expression itself derives from the strong work ethic of dogs, particularly service dogs and farm dogs who will work all day helping their humans.

The national day falls on August 5th, but of course, doggos work hard every day at their chosen professions. Weekends mean nothing to them!

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

Tim Notke, coach

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.”

Steve Jobs, businessman
