At Main Street Hub, our company values are at the foundation of everything we do — as a company and as a team. Every year, we’re excited to celebrate our Hubsters and highlight those who do an exceptional job of embodying each core value.

To learn more about our values and why they’re important to us, read this.

We present awards for each of our core values to hardworking Hubsters in our HQ, our ATX Sales Office, and our NYC Sales Office.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and thank you for all of your hard work!

Reverence for Local Business

Alyssa Bernstein, Senior Product Manager

From Alyssa’s perspective, simply “good enough” is never good enough for our customers. She is relentless in her pursuit of a better customer experience and is willing to challenge the status quo to get there. When we started Atlas, our customer experience lab, Alyssa was the obvious choice to lead it. She sees our customers for who they are: human beings working hard to pursue their dream. She uses that empathy to imagine radically different ways Main Street Hub can support these local heroes, and she inspires others to do the same. Thanks to her leadership, the Atlas team broke new ground, achieving retention results never before seen in the local space. Thank you, Alyssa, for pushing us all to insist on nothing but the best for our customers. Congratulations, Alyssa!

Greg Vendetti, Manager, Account Management

Greg takes his commitments to our customers very seriously and owns driving positive results on their behalf. Throughout many changes this year, Greg always focused on the impact to our customers before thinking about the impact on him as an Account Manager. Greg has proactively sought out feedback and coaching opportunities from his peers and leaders and has been quick to incorporate the feedback in order to drive better results for our customers. Greg always looks internally for how to improve his customer outcomes and builds his teammates up, unlocking them to do their best work on behalf of the customer as well. Congratulations, Greg!

Mikaela Moore, Senior Platform Specialist

Mikaela consistently pushes past her personal best to redefine what is possible for our customers. She came out strong early on, quickly hitting top metrics week over week. Proactively looking for ways we can do more for our customers, she took on additional responsibility on one of our customer onboarding teams. Through this process, she helped significantly drive down the time it takes to fully onboard customers while staying under budget. Every day she looks for ways to add more value to the customer experience through her role and across the team. Congratulations, Mikaela!

Win-Win-Win

David Potsiadlo, Senior Product Designer

David, affectionately known as Pots, might just be the world’s most curious human being. He puts that curiosity to good use, taking inspiration from a wide variety of sources and designing products that are winners for our customers, for fellow Hubsters, and for the company. Highly respected as one of the best problem solvers in the company, others frequently seek guidance and thought partnership from Pots on a variety of tough product challenges. As a result, he’s left his fingerprints on almost every major product launch in the last 18 months, including the Digital Demo (much beloved by prospective customers), the Merchant Dashboard (much beloved by customers), and Passport and Composer, the tools that power our Guided Storytelling content strategy. Main Street Hub is a better company because of Pots’ passion for exploring. Thank you, Pots!

Jennette Lemley, Sales Recruiting Team Lead

Since joining Main Street Hub earlier this year, Jennette has taken on increased management responsibilities and led her team to deliver on big recruiting goals — all while improving our candidate experience across the board. In each candidate interaction, Jennette thinks about how that candidate will interact with our customers. She understands the unique part recruiters play in making sure each new hire is a great fit for the company and that Main Street Hub is a great fit for the new hire. This pushed our new hire classes to new heights — a Win-Win-Win for the Recruiting Team, the company, and our customers. Great work, Jennette!

Perry Landsman, Sales Manager

A top Sales Rep who was promoted to Sales Manager this year, Perry has become a highly respected member of the New York leadership team. He was a key player in helping NYC win back the Hub Victory Cup for the first time in 22 months, and quickly ascended to the top of the Main Street Hub Sales Manager rankings once in the role. Perry’s professionalism and attention to detail inspire his team to do their best work — a win for the local heroes they bring on board, the team, and Main Street Hub. Congratulations, Perry!

Challenge Ourselves

Ashley Flowers, Junior Salesforce Administrator

Ashley is the brainpower behind Salesforce at Main Street Hub, keeping it running smoothly and consistently improving, often accomplishing this through sheer force of will. Ashley joined Main Street Hub as our only Salesforce administrator right as we were embarking on our most ambitious overhaul of Salesforce in the company’s history. She is known for being unflappable, even under immense pressure, and always finds a way to say yes while juggling numerous competing priorities. She’s also an innovator in her field, pushing us to experiment with new Salesforce features and modules that create value for Main Street Hub. Congratulations, Ashley!

Chelsea Poe, Associate Project Manager

Chelsea operates with a quiet intensity, apparently undaunted by any challenge. She has applied her own brand of gumption to a variety of different fields within Main Street Hub, and encountered success each time. Starting her career in Content, she earned the role of Principal Community Manager thanks to her strong personal performance and co-leadership of an internal team focused on new customer acquisition for our local business customers. She was then accepted into our SemiPro Product & Design Bootcamp, demonstrating a strong knack for data-driven decision making. She invested an extra 20 hours a week in the SemiPro program for over four months, with no decline in her day to day performance, becoming one of only four graduates in company history. She is now applying the skills she learned in SemiPro to operations, having helped our Photography Team scale up to nationwide coverage. Congratulations, Chelsea, for demonstrating what’s possible with fearlessness and focus.

Colby Sites, Senior Software Engineer

Colby designed and implemented a new infrastructure system, which runs faster and more reliably than ever before. He took on the challenge of rethinking the approach, worked through the kinks and “gotchas”, and delivered a smooth transition from our legacy system to the newly improved one. It was an 18-month, continuous-development effort that required diligence, patience, and perseverance. During numerous migration efforts, Colby maintained 99.99% up-time across our systems, making sure that service to our customers was not interrupted. He truly held himself to a high bar of achieving engineering excellence. Congratulations, Colby!

Take Ownership

Ben Sennet, Sales Manager

Ben has been a top performing cold calling Sales Manager since he was promoted into the role. He recently pivoted to lead our first ever specialty sales team. This team has set all-time records for sales and revenue thanks to Ben setting big goals and Taking Ownership of the results. Because of Ben’s leadership to bring his team to success, our specialty sales teams are expanding in 2017 to help bring even more local heroes to Main Street Hub. Congratulations, Ben!

William Ball, Senior Product Manager

William may be one of the single biggest contributors to Main Street Hub’s growth and continuous improvement over the last year. Since joining Main Street Hub 18 months ago, he has radically overhauled our content tools, maintaining a dual focus on authentic storytelling and efficiency. When it comes to authentic storytelling, William led the creation of Passport and Composer, the two content tools that allow us to post great visual content for all our customers, truly capturing their unique voice for the first time — and driving increased customer satisfaction and retention in the process. He also launched Boomerang, our tool for responding to inbound content. Not only is it a much loved improvement over its previous incarnation, but it also allows us to be efficient in our content creation, saving an estimated $3M over a three year-period. Congrats, William, for embracing and truly owning the complex challenge of creating authentic content, at scale.

Christina Singh, Principal Community Manager

Christina isn’t satisfied with the status quo or “good enough.” She has consistently been ranked in the top three on the team in key performance metrics for more than a year, and proactively shared her successful strategies with her teammates. Through this process she discovered an opportunity to improve one of our key metrics and took action to make it happen. She also identified an opportunity to improve the hiring process and worked alongside the Recruiting Team to change our work product assignment. Christina always thinks about how something can be better and challenges herself to deliver an improved solution. Congratulations, Christina!

Elevate Others

Caroline Barker, Content Marketing Manager

Caroline thrives by putting others in the spotlight. As leader of the Main Street Hub Brand Team, she has championed a content marketing strategy that puts our best asset — our team — at the center of what we publish under the Main Street Hub name. Seriously, go check out the company blog — it’s practically a case study in Elevating Others. This selfless focus on the team instead of herself has yielded tremendous results. The Brand Team keeps smashing its own engagement records under her leadership, and Main Street Hub has nearly 15,000 followers across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Congrats, Caroline, for showing us that Elevating Others is the fastest path to success!

Erin Stanley, HR Generalist

Erin was promoted to HR Generalist in November 2015, and jumped right in to tackle her new role. She picked up new skills quickly and proved to be an invaluable resource to the Content and Customer Success Teams. This was on top of everything she was already taking care of for Main Street Hub’s employees, including being the only person managing the People Team ticket system for over a year and being the go-to person for all benefits work since she joined Main Street Hub almost two years ago. Erin is unfailingly positive and has elevated her customers — the employees of Main Street Hub — with each interaction. Thank you, Erin!

MacKenzie Heeney, Floor Support Manager

MacKenzie has been an enormous contributor to the Austin Sales floor. She spent the first half of the year as one of ATX’s strongest Sales Managers and then, upon an organizational change, decided to alter her career path so she could influence even more team members. MacKenzie became a Floor Support Manager, assisting every new hire that enters initial training. Mackenzie’s selfless approach has resulted in best ever performance among our new hires in ATX and is a shining example of servant leadership and Elevating Others. Congratulations, MacKenzie!

Speak Up

Jacob Sattler, Account Manager

Throughout 2016 and all of the change that came with it, Jacob has honed his skills in asking the right questions at the right time. He is thoughtful and respectful in his approach and is willing to challenge his peers and his leaders to define the ‘why’ behind a decision or an outcome. Jacob Speaks Up even when his opinion may be in the minority on the team and is always willing to offer a constructive alternative if he believes there is a better way. Perhaps most importantly, Jacob frequently Speaks Up on behalf of our customers and is quick to point out opportunities to improve their experience. Congrats, Jacob!

LeShea Millard, Sales Manager

Sales Manager LeShea is a proactive planner whose organizational skills and commitment to winning have made a great impact on the culture of the Austin Sales office. Her competitive spirit is contagious, and she’s not afraid to Speak Up and demand high effort and results from her team and her peers. This attitude has put LeShea at the top of the ranking for cold calling teams nationwide for several months in a row! Congratulations, LeShea!

Doug Taverna, Sales Representative

A top performing Sales Rep, Doug created a sales tool to help drive his personal results, and shared his ideas with the Sales Management and Product Teams earlier this year. As a result of Doug’s willingness to Speak Up, we have scaled and are currently testing this tool. When complete, it will optimize veteran Sales Reps’ time and productivity, and help bring more local heroes on board with Main Street Hub. Congratulations, Doug!

I Am Main Street Hub

Hailey Tielkemeier, Senior Training Specialist

Hailey represents our mission and values fully when she welcomes our new hires onto the Content Team. She is supportive and welcoming to every new person, challenges herself to make each training better than the last, Takes Ownership of new responsibilities as they arise, and Speaks Up with ideas on how we can make things even better. Setting the tone for our newest teammates, she is a steward of our culture, and lives every core value as strongly when she’s in front of a room as she does when quietly executing on behalf of our customers and teammates. It’s no surprise that her teammates wish they could train longer with her and why they frequently cite Hailey as someone who has made a meaningful impact on their time at Main Street Hub. Congratulations, Hailey!

Katie Landry, Content Specialist

Katie’s guiding question is “how can I help?” She’s always looking for ways to help support her team and our customers. Whether she’s covering work for a Platform Specialist who is out of office, fielding customer requests for our customers, or helping to design and lead new hire training, she’s quick to say yes to an opportunity to help. This doesn’t stop when it comes to customer work, either — Katie lends a hand at every Main Street Hub Gives Back event and is there to help execute every office move. With her steadfast commitment to our customers, company, and team, Katie represents our mission and values day in and day out. Congratulations, Katie!

Kent Czechowski, Senior Software Engineer

Kent is one of the hardest working members of the Engineering Team and he always seeks out ways to make an impact. In recognizing an opportunity to apply machine learning to our product in a new way, he took it upon himself to experiment. Through countless hours on nights and weekends, he found a solution that will make its way into the product in 2017. This new innovation is one of the driving forces behind building authentic content at scale for the entire company. Kent also believes in giving back and is active in participating in volunteering events consistently throughout the year. Kent is Main Street Hub, all the time!
