It is Going to Turn Out Better Than You Expect
This is for you if you have been stuck for a while
The only work necessary in making your dreams come true is belief. Even if you think all hope is lost still believe. Even if there is nothing more you can do, still believe. As long as what you want does not have an expiration date, keep your faith alive for as long as you live. Don’t put a deadline on your dream. Remember that is this supposed to be a fun journey. And you don’t know all the twists and turns on the path.
Deadline is Your Enemy
Deadlines are good for goals and targets. But they are not good for lifelong dreams. Let me illustrate when deadlines are necessary.
Suppose you are running a race, maybe a marathon. It is good to set a deadline to get to the finish line. Also, let’s say you are working for a client on a project. It is good to set a deadline to finish that project. Maybe 3 months, 6 months, 2 years, etc.
You set a deadline when you are on a definite course towards a definite finish line. When it comes to life goals, you never set a deadline. If you set a deadline for a life goal, it will make you miserable.
