Spending time in nature and soaking in its beauty will make you happy. It will relieve your stress and make you more mindful.

But we live in concrete jungles now, so you might have to depend on your imagination techniques to be happier.

Train yourself to be happy

Imagining a happier scenario will make you happy. Positive imagery is shown to decrease stress and signs of depression.

But imagining the fruition of a project or the end goal can seldom backfire. People who visualized the end results performed poorly than those who imagined themselves doing the work.

Imagining completing a task or studying harder can boost your productivity and creativity. But it's not exciting or happiness-inducing.
