Tolar at the Public Hearing on “Blockchain and the EU Single Market: what next ?”

We are excited for the upcoming Public Hearing on “Blockchain and the EU Single Market: what next ? organized by European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on June 24, 2019 in Brussels, as representatives of Tolar HashNET are very active in building the EU blockchain infrastructure.
The objective of the hearing will be to give the floor to policy makers and civil society representatives, but also to answer questions on how can the EU Single Market and its citizens benefit from fully operational European Blockchain infrastructure. It will also reflect on whether and how using blockchain as an overarching infrastructure, in other European policies, could reinforce the European values of the Single Market and make it even more cohesive and democratic.
Tadej Slapnik is a blockchain expert for the Rapporteur: Ms Arian Rodert, and he will present necessary blockchain policy activities in Europe during the session Blockchain policy for Europe — perspective from policy maker.
Also, Mario Halambek, our DevOps Engineer, will participate in the first panel moderated by Nena Dokuzov, Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology - Enhancing European Digital Single Market through fully operational European Blockchain infrastructure — voices from civil society. In this panel, he will present HashNET technology and its potentials in building EU blockchain infrastructure.
