Police Chief Mike Mann requested to be considered for Isabella County Sheriff

As many already know I have submitted a request to be considered for the appointment to Sheriff for Isabella County. Although I would miss my close contacts in Shepherd and my day to day duties, I’m very excited about the possible new opportunity. I have thought the decision through carefully as there are a lot of things to consider in the next 11 months if appointed. I have had many long conversations with my wife and children and we as a family are a GO. For all of you that have called or spoke to me already, I greatly appreciate the support. To me it means that hard work and respect pays off and family and friends mean everything. I know of a few other good candidates that have placed their name in the hat as well, I wish them luck. Hopefully more to come.
