The Most Insane Mac Productivity Software I’ve Ever Used
It has more than tripled the speed of my workflow
Mac OS by default itself is faster and leagues more optimal for productivity than its cluttered counterpart Windows.
So, you don’t need a ton of third-party apps and settings “optimizations” to set up a smooth high-speed workflow.
In fact, I use only one external tool — a highly customizable one that will take your Mac from good to legendary.
Say Hi to Alfred
Alfred is Mac’s inbuilt Spotlight search on steroids. Download & install it, and I’ll show you what I’m talking about.
First, swap out Spotlight’s keyboard shortcut (⌘Cmd+Space) to use it with Alfred. Go to System Preferences → Keyboard → Shortcuts →Spotlight → Uncheck the “Show Spotlight search” checkbox.
Then, open up Alfred → Search for “Alfred preferences” → General → Alfred Hotkey → Map ⌘Cmd+Space.
