Your health is majorly dependent on your diet, no matter how much time you spend in the gym, if you eat garbage then your health will be garbage.

The definition of “healthy” changes every day, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed when it comes to food.

But you only need to remember these four food tips that keep my 99 year old friend healthy and thriving.

1. You don’t need three meals a day

Eating three square meals daily is the norm but it’s not a necessity for most people.

Your lifestyle determines how much fuel you need. If your job is physically demanding then you’ll need three meals and maybe a snack to repower.

My old friend is an ex-army man and he had a physically draining job in the regiment. So, he used to eat three meals and a few snacks to keep up with work.

He has been functioning perfectly on two meals a day since he retired and left the military thirty years ago.

Intermittent fasting is his norm. He had replaced breakfast with a far better snack.
