#1. Open a link in Private tab 🥷

Previously, if there’s a hyperlink on a Safari webpage, and I needed to load it in a new private window, I

  • right-clicked and copied the link,
  • opened a private window (File < New Private Window), and
  • pasted the link and hit return.

But lately, I discovered a simpler way.

After you right-click on a link, this will appear, right?

‘Open Link in New Window’ in Mac Safari

Now, hold option (⌥) key and this will come up ⬇️.

‘Open Link in New Private Window’ in Mac Safari

Keep holding ⌥ and click on ‘Open Link in New Private Window’.

It’s done!

PSst: You may try it here now → ‘Blank page’.

#2. Stop Googling for special characters – do this instead
