Chugging multiple cups of coffee is not a permanent solution for brain fog. You need to alter your morning routine to boost focus and attention.

Here are the top five morning habits that helped me combat brain fog.

1. The only habit to start your day.

There are no ifs and buts, you have to start every morning with this super easy step.

Wake up and drink water. Don’t even bother getting out of bed, pick up your water bottle and drink some water.

2% brain dehydration can cause brain fog and decrease mental clarity. Prolonged dehydration can shrink the size of your brain cells.

You are extremely dehydrated in the morning after a long fast. So, break your fast with a tall glass of water daily.

  • Keep a water bottle on your nightstand.
  • Drink water even before going to the bathroom.
