I thought the gigantic update iOS 16.1 would spell the end of any major features iOS 16 would ever get (just like iOS 15.4 for iOS 15).

My God! What an update!

But Apple dispelled my beliefs, again.

The iOS 16.2 Dev Beta 1 was lately out, bringing quite a few mind-boggling features you’ve never thought will exist.

Here they are:

#1. Current Update Font gets Bold

Software update in iOS
Left: iOS 16.1 | Right: iOS 16.2. Oh, it’s written 😅

This might be new for you, but I’ve witnessed this multiple times when iOS 16 was in Beta stages.

Perhaps Apple’s finalising this with iOS 16.2.

If you go check for a new software update when there’s none available, you’ll now find a bolder text that indicates the current iOS version.

#2. Freeform app is Out!
