Heading down under with EOSphere
EOSphere, our good friends from Perth, Australia, have been instrumental in our success thus far as a valued member of our founding block producers. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight what an incredible organization they are and how their contributions to EOS and the distributed ledger space are shaping the future of this emerging technology.
The team, headquartered in Perth, are dedicated to expanding the entire EOS ecosystem, including applications, developments and sister chains such as WORBLI. Their vision and values completely align to ours, as they look to bring transparency and inclusion to the EOS space. The self-funded entity has strived relentlessly to uphold these values and commitment to EOS through various initiatives including organizing events such as meet-ups and hackathons, sponsoring EOS projects and competitions, educating the community through videos and guides and also contributing to many EOS tools and updates.
EOSphere are community experts and have a strong presence in the distributed ledger and EOS communities in the Asia Pacific region. We are already reaping the benefits of EOSphere and their community as they host meetups and conferences throughout Australia with a strong WORBLI support theme. They have also been exemplary in their desire to spread awareness around WORBLI and EOS through their extensive social media reach and connections.
Backing this strong community expertise is a team of 8 with over a century of combined experience in IT, banking and business with companies such as Oracle and IBM. With such a diverse and professional roster, we are very lucky to have them as block producers and representatives of our network.
Going forward, we hope to work with EOSphere to expand WORBLI throughout the Asia Pacific region, leveraging their connections and influence. The contributions they have provided WORBLI thus far have been immense and we’re very lucky to have one of the most well respected and professional block producer teams on board helping to achieve our goals. We aim to maintain a mutually beneficial partnership for many years to come!
