I got inspired to write this post when I read this and other year in review posts. I have been trying to get myself to write something, and this seemed like a great start. So here they are — notable things that I did in 2014:

  • Received 2014 in company of great friends in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
  • Based on my Strava account, I rode 530.9 miles, during 52 hours, climbed as high as 2,838 feet, and rode as fast as 37.1 MPH in 2014.
“La Nave”
  • Left my job at Radius after 3 years, and joined BrightRoll!
  • Experienced seeing the company I work for getting acquired.
  • First solo trip: Went to my home country, Colombia, and visited Cartagena. You should go!
Counter clock wise: “Puerta del Reloj”, Playa Blanca (in Barú Island), Castillo San Felipe, Walled City Street.
  • Attended the Grace Hopper Conference along with other BrightRollers in Phoenix. It was an incredible and very inspiring experience.
  • Took Portuguese classes.
  • Went to Brazil and witnessed my home country’s fútbol team make it to the quarter finals for the first time ever in the World Cup!
View from top of the Panorama trail — 8.8 miles hike.
  • Finally saw “The Cure” in concert!
  • Ended the year visiting the Island of Puerto Rico, “La Isla del Encanto”.
  • Drafted my first Medium post. ☺
