Lego Set 17 — Savannah Master

This week I bring you something simple. I will admit that I hadn’t much time for the weekly Battetech post. However, I also came to the conclusion that it would be fun to put in some simpler designs, so, the amazing hovercraft Savannah Master will be this week’s post. I hope to eventually have a few additional simpler designs anyone can make with whatever parts they have at home.

In the lore, the Savannah Master was a fast scout hovercraft equipped with a single laser. Massing a mere 5 tons, the vehicle could be dismissed as a niche recon car, but because it uses an expensive fusion engine, it can fire that laser in quick succession, thus becoming quite the peril against much larger foes if used in numbers. Because of this, they became a common sight on the battlefields of the XXXIst century.

Mercenaries use it a lot, hence why this one is gray — the color I use for the mercenary army in my own real-life sets. The mode is very simple, using a mere 5 parts. Anyone can make them, and I think it is a good starter for anyone aiming to design and/or build easily recognizable shapes.
