When you say, “I want to be rich”, you are not ready to be rich. There is a big gulf between “I want to be rich” and “I am rich”. Until you feel it and know it deep down without a shadow of a doubt that you are rich, you will psychologically hold yourself back from receiving more money. Let’s break this down…
Taking the Money
Most people are comfortable with the idea of money coming to them. But they get uncomfortable with the idea of taking money. If someone is offering money, it is easy to say yes. But real-life situations get tricky.
Let’s say the money is on the table and there are 4 other people on the table in contention for the money. How comfortable are you with taking all the money and walking away?
Relax, you are not stealing anything. It is a competition and you have the opportunity to clear the table and walk. Will you be okay with doing that? Most people wouldn’t. And that is why they are not ready to be rich.
Taking the money has nothing to do with being a wicked person but it has everything to do with feeling deserved. Do you really think you deserve it? This is because if you have one iota of doubt, you will hold yourself from big opportunities.
