Gratitude is the first skill that I picked up for better mental health. Seven years later I still practice it daily.

I practice gratitude when I look at myself in the mirror every morning. When I take the first sip of my morning tea. When I go to bed after a long day.

Gratitude has enriched my life in ways I could have never imagined. It has made me a patient, happy, and more fulfilled human being.

More importantly, it has prevented me from becoming a piece of shit.
