Oasys is collaborating with the Arbitrum Foundation to integrate Arbitrum Orbit — the Layer 2 and Layer 3 scaling solution for Ethereum — into its infrastructure. This marks the first time Arbitrum Orbit technology will be used outside of Ethereum’s L1 for gaming specific chains. By incorporating Arbitrum Orbit, Oasys’ Hub-Layer (L1) will support the creation and deployment of Verses (Oasys L2) using Arbitrum’s advanced scaling solutions. This integration will build a bridge to the fast-growing Arbitrum ecosystem and open the possibility for enhanced liquidity on new Layer 2s.

Uprising Verse is the first Verse Layer 2 to be launched using this innovative method. The gaming-focused blockchain supports the first multichain native yield and bridges the gap between web2 and web3 gaming communities. Uprising Verse brings blockchain games to a wider audience under the motto of “Real games for real people”.

Arbitrum Orbit is the fastest blockchain available with a speed of 0.1s per block. This groundbreaking technology unlocks new use cases for gaming on Oasys. By integrating Verses built using Arbitrum Orbit, Oasys unlocks a new world of possibilities for Verse development with more tools and options. This strategic connection will not only enhance liquidity for the ecosystem but also strengthen the synergy between the Oasys and Arbitrum ecosystems. With Arbitrum Orbit’s advanced scaling solutions — offering high throughput, low settlement fees, and seamless interoperability — developers can propel their blockchain games to new heights.

Thanks to the collaboration between Oasys, Arbitrum Foundation, and AltLayer — the decentralised roll-up-as-a-service provider — deploying Arbitrum Orbit onto Oasys is now remarkably fast, achievable with just a few clicks. This streamlined process significantly simplifies deployment, making it easier for developers to harness the power of Arbitrum Orbit and Oasys’ L1.

In addition to this technical integration, Oasys and Arbitrum Foundation will pursue a range of collaborations that will further strengthen our collaboration and shape the future of blockchain gaming.
