I am from India where staying alive was considered a privilege as of last month. With record-shattering covid cases and crematoriums overflowing with dead bodies, my city was up in flames. The situation was so dire that we dreaded picking up the phone every time it ringed, praying that it was not bad news.

The past few months have been frustrating, depressing, and antagonizing. Anxiety was my constant companion in those tough times. Those difficult times pushed me to learn about anxiety and its cures.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder(GAD) is the most common mental disorder in today's time. More than 20% of adult sufferers from anxiety disorder each year. People with anxiety have to live life in a constant state of fear and worry which leads to a persistent feeling of overwhelm.

Living with anxiety makes people nervous and restless. This condition can also affect your physical health. Some common symptoms of anxiety are stomach ache, headache, fatigue, sweating, and increased heart rate. Anxiety can also make you an insomniac. Anxiety can even compromise your immune system making you vulnerable to infection and diseases.
